Window situation

I have 3 windows and they are not very conveniently located in my fairly large apartment.

Window 1 - my favorite
This is the window next to my bed, the only one that leads to some solitude and escape. It faces the back of the building so it's usually quiet.

Window 2 - In the bedroom.
This is the 2nd window in my bedroom and is a permanent fixture for my AC unit in it all year round, b/c i have nowhere to put it. As you can see here, the apartment that doesn't touch mine is painfully close. The worker looks like he's climbing into my living room window. \

Living room window

The only window in my 24 foot long apartment besides the 2 in the bedroom. I'm guessing i share this wall with the building next door because pieces of brick are falling down. This window has no screen and i can't open it that far because I don't want Monkee running out.

The sun can come crashing to earth and I'll still be in the darkness. How ironic considering I've spent years in a color darkroom where it has to be completely DARK. Sometimes you really do have to be careful what you wish for. Now that I have darkness, I don't have to the means to develop anything.

However, on the bright side, it does stay cooler in the summer...
