As I look over to see all the building, all i see is an electric saw running happily on it's own, just making it's shrill noises with the occasional BBBZZZZ when the worker decides to cut something the size of a toothpick. I mean really, can't you conserve a little bit of electricity and just use when necessary? No, NO! why be even the slightest bit considerate of their environment when an apartment full of people that are probably sleeping could be woken up.
In my "just woke me up asshole rage" (jwmuar - almost sounds like a roar), I go to the living room to at least lower the shade and make sure the workers don't jump into my apartment. As i'm fumbling with the shitty blinds to lower them down and give me a shred of privacy, they break!

I know they're just doing their job, but just because most people may have 7-3 or the 9-5 doesn't mean others don't have the graveyard shift. Not only that, but it makes me realize just how painfully crammed and close my quarters really are. Not the actual size of the apartment, but where it's located on the map. ZOOM IN: EARTH, the USA, NY state, NYC, SPAHA, my block, my building, my apartment, which in turn directly touches another. TOO CLOSE.
Right now, as i sit and type at my computer, thinking how much closer can we get, the window outside of mine pops out and i'm in complete full view of the worker. It reminds me of exactly what my sister was talking about in this exact post. It's almost the same situation, but hers was just temporary. This apartment is here to stay, but hopefully the workers can finish up and I can have a peep of sunlight.
