Peonies

I've been taking photos of these peonies at the New York Botanical Garden for several weeks now and they're really starting to bloom. I really love to see all the different stages of their blooming. The whole flowering process is very sexual and beautiful.

They are all the same flower breed, yet all different strains, creating so much diversity within one species.
