Space Walk

Sometimes I get extremely nervous at the way the way we are progressing. The economy is falling, the environment is changing and the world will always be at war. I try to look at the bright side and remind myself that there is always balance, so where there is war, there has to be peace as well. In our advancements, we have just completed the first spacewalk to fix the Hubble telescope so we can see further into space than ever before.

I can't even imagine being an astronaut, hanging out in the middle of space connected by only a thin umbilical cord to another object just floating in space. It must be both breathtaking and frightening to be looking at Earth as if it were something distant, rather than the only planet you know to be home. If you think you feel small on earth, chew on that for a while.
